Colleen retired in 2021 after an amazing 29-year career at UPS. She began her journey in Los Angeles, California as a part time supervisor and concluded it in Gilbert, Arizona as a Director of International experiencing growth and success across diverse regions.  Now happily retired, she reflects with gratitude on a career shaped by leadership, teamwork, and strategic thinking. She remains dedicated to empowering others by focusing on Service Above Self.

Since joining Rotary in 2019, Colleen has discovered her passion is with youth initiatives, including hosting RYE students, mentoring at RYLA, and participating in international service trips like Crutches 4 Africa. She has chaired District 5495 Rotaract and helped establish the AZ Rotaract Council. Colleen served as the 2023/24 President of the Rotary Club of Mesa West, developing a homeless youth program and is slated to be District Governor in 2027/28.

Colleen lives in Gilbert, Arizona, with her husband Dan, a dedicated long-term Rotarian. They have two adult sons, Ryan (with wife Danielle) and Nicholas.

She holds a Marketing and Economics degree from California State University, Long Beach

FIVE FUN FACTS:

1. Colleen is U.S. Army veteran who served at Ft. Hood, TX as an administrative assistant and in Frankfurt, Germany in the APO. Yes, I survived basic training!
2. Colleen loves to snow ski, play golf, practice hot yoga, relax on the beach, hike, cook, spend time with family and loves shopping!
3. Colleen worked at a golf course both as a short order cook and a bookkeeper – all to learn how to play golf!
4. In college, she volunteered as a tour guide for high school students to many US ski destinations.
5. Their boys participated as Ambassadors in the Rotary Youth Exchange program, with Ryan spending his junior year in Toyama, Japan, and Nicholas completing his senior year in Taichung, Taiwan.
