District 5390

Jeff was born and raised in Laurel, MT.  After high school, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University.  His 39-year career began with Phillips Petroleum in Houston, TX, where he quickly had to adjust to the heat and humidity of the south!  He worked primarily in pipeline design and compliance, moving between Texas and Oklahoma.  When Conoco and Phillips merged to form ConocoPhillips, he became the company’s cavern engineer, overseeing the integrity of its 54 underground storage caverns.

Jeff and his first wife were married almost 19 years and had three children.  He is the proud grandfather of two in Vermont and enjoys visiting them as often as possible.  His other two children live on opposite ends of the country - Seattle and Brooklyn.  A few years after his divorce, he crossed paths with his childhood sweetheart, who would later become his wife, Dawn.  They married in 1999.  In 2015, they relocated to Montana and are now enjoying life in their home state.

After moving to Townsend and wanting to get involved in the community, Jeff kept hearing, “If you want to get things done, get the Rotary Club involved.”  He attended a meeting, joined shortly after, and within six months, he stepped up to become the club secretary.  He quickly immersed himself in Rotary, later serving as club president.  Since joining, he has attended three RI Conferences, taken on the role of Assistant Governor, and is now in line for District Governor.
